WARNING

Keep hands and fingers away from adapters and tow

eyes when operating retriever controls. Personal injury

could result.

NOTE

If disabled vehicle has towing shackles installed,

remove shackles and stow in disabled vehicle.

Right and left adapters are pinned the same way.

Right side shown .

Soldier A operates retrieval system (para 2-72) while Soldier A and

Soldier B position lift tube (15) so holes in adapters (21) aline with front

tow eyes (22).

Insert pin (23) through adapter (21) and tow eye (22) and install quick

pin (24) in pin.
