Route other end of tow light cable (37) along disabled

connect to rear electrical connector (38) on wrecker.

disabled vehicle will be lifted and towed, continue

with step (40).

If disabled vehicle will be towed with all tires on

paved roads only, raise crosstube enough to partially

unload disabled vehicle’s front suspension. Keep

front tires in firm contact with ground and proceed

to step (45).

Lock disabled vehicle’s steering (refer to M939 operator’s manual).

Set POWER switch (39) to ON position.

Set HIGH IDLE switch (40) to CONTINUOUS,

Push and release LATCH switch (41). Engine speed will increase to

approximately 1500 rpm.
