Make sure reservoirs have been drained before doing any work on air system components.

Sudden release of air pressure from valves, hoses, and other air system components can

cause serious injury.

Step 1.

Check reservoir drain valve to see if it is open or leaking.

Close or replace drain valve (para 11-30).

Step 2.

Check air lines, connections, and air system components for leaks or damage.

Tighten loose connections.
