Suppression in the M977 series vehicles is accomplished by grounding straps, tooth-type washers,
shielded cables, and shielded crane electrical components. Use these suppression devices when necessary
to join critical parts, forming a complete electrical circuit, for conducting radio interference currents
directly to vehicle ground and away from antennas.
c. Blower motor used in the cab for heating/cooling/air circulation has built-in ground straps f or
attachment. Tooth-t ype washers are used whenever an interference suppression ground connection is
made.
