Fuel System Maintenance Instructions (Cont)

WARNING

Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors,

and are harmful to skin and clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep away from open fire

and use in well-ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound gets on skin or

clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.

Coat threads of fittings (10 and 11) and elbow (12) with pipe thread sealing compound.

Install fitting (10).

Install elbow (12) and fittings (13 and 11).

Connect air restriction indicator hose (14) and tighten.

(13)

Install clamp (15) on air compressor supply hose (16) and connect to fitting (17).

Tighten clamp (15).

c. Follow-on Maintenance.

Install engine side panel (TM 9-2320-279-10).

(2)

Close engine cover (TM 9-2320-279-10).
