7-13. OIL MANIFOLD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (CONT).

Installation

(1)

Install oil manifold (1) with

lockwasher (2) and nut (3).

WARNING

Adhesives, solvents, and sealing

compounds can burn easily, can give

off harmful vapors, and are harmful

to skin and clothing. To avoid injury

or death, keep away from open fire

and use in well-ventilated area. If

adhesive, solvent, or sealing

compound gets on skin or clothing,

wash immediately with soap and

water.

(2)

Coat threads of reducer

bushings (4) with pipe thread

sealing compound.

(3)

Install three reducer

bushings (4) in oil manifold (1).

Follow-on Maintenance

(1)

Install oil pressure sending unit (para 7-79).

(2)

Install oil pressure switch (para 7-84).

(3)

Install hour meter oil pressure switch (para 7-82).

(4)

Connect oil manifold hose (para 7-83).
