Stand clear of heavy parts when being lifted or

moved with hoist or crane to avoid personal injury.

(1) Attach lifting device to drum (l). Take up slack

on sling.

(2) Remove six screws (2), lockwashers (3), and

nuts (4).

(3) Remove two screws (5), lockwashers (6), and

nuts (7).

Soldier A and Soldier B remove gear end support (8) from drum (1) and frame (9).

Remove oil seal (10) and press two bronze bushings (11) from gear end support (8).
