(52) Remove pinion (37) from bearing cage (30), pinion
gear (38), and outer bearing cone (35).
(53) Use 0.001-in. (0.25 mm) thicker spacer (34) and
install bearing cage (30), spacer, and outer bearing
cone (35) on pinion (37).
(54) Repeat steps (47) through (51).
(55) Remove pinoin (37) from bearing cage (30), pinion
gear (38), and outer bearing cone (35).
(56) Use 0.001-in, (0.25 mm) thinner spacer (34) and
install bearing cage (30), spacer, and outer bearing
cone (35) on pinion (37).
(57) Repeat steps (47) through (51).
(58) Remove pinion gear (38) from pinion (37).
(59) Install same number and size of shims (39) recorded in disassembly step (46).
(60) Install bearing cage (30) on carrier (2).
