Apply adhesive sealant and install

preformed packing (34).

Install race (35), bearing (36), and

race (35).

Install end cover (37) loosely.

NOTE

Movement is checked through hole in end

cover.

Check for free movement by raising

planetary assembly up and down.

If no movement is felt, install shims in

progression of 0.002 in. (0.0005 mm)

until movement is felt.

Remove end cover (37) and install oil

seal (38).

Install sun gear (39) and spacer (40).

Install end cover (37).

Apply thread locking and sealing

compound and install 16

lockwashers (41) and screws (42).

Apply pipe thread sealing compound

and install two plugs (43).

Apply pipe thread and sealing

compound and install pipe (44),
