If the fuel cap handle (1) is turned more than necessary to remove the fuel
cap (2), the fuel cap backing plate (3) may become jammed on the staked
threads (4). Correct the problem by holding the backing plate (3) and turning the
fuel cap handle (1) clockwise until the backing plate (3) turns freely.

When fueling operation is complete, install fuel cap (2) and turn fuel cap
handle (1) clockwise to seal fuel cap (2).
