General mechanic’s tool kit:

Battery ground cable disconnected (para. 4-73).

automotive (Appendix B, Item 1)

Engine access cover removed (para. 10-15).

a. Removal

1. Disconnect lead 511A (5) from lamp assembly lead (4).

2. Remove screw (3) and ground lead (2) from engine (8).

3. Remove two screws (6) and lamp assembly (7) from body (1).

b. Installation

1.

Install lamp assembly (7) to body (1) with two screws (6).

2.

Install ground lead (2) to engine (8) with screw (3).

3.

Connect lead 511A (5) to lamp assembly lead (4).
