Clean heat exchanger (3), secondary blower housing (2), housing (1), and guard (4) with drycleaning

solvent.

Remove all traces of solvent and allow to air dry before assembly.

7.

Inspect circuit board (5) and receptacle (6) for broken connections and damage.

Replace either if

damage or broken connections are evident.

8.

Inspect igniter assembly (9) for loose or broken leads (7) or damaged element (8).

Replace igniter

assembly (9) if leads (7) are broken or loose, or element (8) is damaged.

9.

Connect multimeter to leads (7) to check igniter assembly (9) for proper resistance.

Resistance should

be 2.2 Ohms.

If resistance is not 2.2 Ohms, replace igniter assembly (9).
