28. Housing assembly

a. Place on item (5).

Assistant holds item (3)

(3).

against item (12) until

secure.

b. Slide item (3) down

item (5) against item

(12).

29. Clamp (21).

a. Place around item (3) and

(12).

b. Line up scribe line on

item (3) with line on

item (12) by rotating

item (3).

30. Two nuts (14)

Secure.

and bolts (16).

Tighten alternately

while assistant taps

item (21) several times.

Item (21) will then seat

around item (12) and

item (17) when securing.

31. Clevis (1) and

nut (2).

Install on item (5).

NOTE

Follow-on maintenance action required:

Install forward-rear axle brake

chamber (TM 9-2320-283-20).
