5. LOSS OF HOOK ARM LOAD HOLDING.
WARNING
All personnel must stand clear during lifting operations. A swinging or shifting load may
cause injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Lift truck only enough to lift vehicle weight off suspension. Do not lift tires off the ground.
Step 1.
Check hook arm’s ability to hold a load against direction of loading.
If hook arm does not hold weight off vehicle suspension go to
