LOWER STOWAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LATCH INSTALLATION

NOTE

•

Both lower passenger side and lower rear driver side stowage compartment door latches

are removed the same way.

Passenger side lower front stowage compartment is shown.

•

Perform Steps (1) through (6) only if installing second door latch on passenger side front

lower stowage compartment.

1.

Install door latch striker (25) on compartment (26) with two screws (24), washers (23), lockwashers (22), and

nuts (21).

2.

Install cotter pin (20) on handle shaft (19).

3.

Install handle shaft (19) in door latch (15).

4.

Install door latch (15) on door (12) with four screws (18), washers (17), and locknuts (16).

5.

Install handle (14) on door latch (15) with setscrew (13).

NOTE

Perform Step (6) if door latch striker requires adjustment.

Perform Stowage Compartment Door Latch Striker Adjustment (WP 0131).
