OPERATE GROVE CRANE IN EXTREME DUST
NOTE
Lubricate outrigger bottom plate, boom wear pads, and exposed rotation
gears often when cranes are operating in dusty environment (refer to
PMCS - Semiannual procedures (WP 0146) for more information).
1.
When operating the grove crane in a blowing dust environment, perform the following:
a.
Check gear teeth of rotation gear bearing and pinion for an accumulation of dust
within the lubricant.
