During normal vehicle
operation, cooling system
can become very hot.
Allow cooling system to
cool prior to servicing.
Failure to comply may
result in injury to
personnel.

Use extreme care when
removing radiator cap.
Sudden release of
pressure can cause a
steam flash. Slowly
loosen radiator cap to the
first stop to relieve
pressure before
removing radiator cap
completely. Failure to
comply may result in
injury to personnel.
•
Use a clean, thick waste
cloth or like material to
remove radiator cap.
Avoid using gloves. If hot
water soaks through
gloves, personnel could
be burned. Failure to
comply may result in
injury to personnel.
