GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Compressed air source will not
exceed 30 psi
(207
kpa).
Eyeshields
must be worn when cleaning with
a. Removal
1. Remove three screws (2) from heater housing (1).
2. Separate heater housing (1) and remove heat exchanger (5) from heater housing (1).
b. Cleaning and Inspection
WARNING
Compressed air source will not exceed 30 psi (207 kPa). When
cleaning with compressed air, eyeshields must be worn. Failure to
wear eyeshields may result in injury to personnel.
Inspect heat exchanger (5) for exterior damage, leaks, and corrosion. Replace if damaged, heavily
corroded, or leaks are present. To remove carbon from heat exchanger, soak in water for a short time and
dry with compressed air.
c. Installation
Ensure flame detector adapter (3) and exhaust tube (4) are alined and install heat exchanger (5) in
heater housing (1) with three screws (2).
