WARNING

Air conditioner system must be discharged prior

to replacing components in vapor system.

Failure

to do this may result in injury to personnel or

damage to equipment.

CAUTION

Cover or plug all open lines and connections

immediately after disconnection to prevent

contamination.

Remove all plugs prior to

connection.

NOTE

Suction hose (low pressure) has a larger diameter

than the discharge hose (high pressure); fittings

will not interconnect.

Remove capscrew (5), two washers (4), and self-locking nut (6)

that secure clamp (3), suction hose (7), and discharge hose (2) to

underside of body.

Discard self-locking nut (6).

2.

Remove tie-straps (1) that secure suction hose (7) and discharge

hose (2) together.

Discard tie-straps (1).
