Jack up axle with overheated brakes, and
support with trestle stands.
(2)
Release parking brake (TM 9-2320-365-10).
(3)
Turn adjusting bolt clockwise with adjusting tool.
If bolt will not turn or if brake shoes do not move
away from wheel when adjuster is turned,
perform brake adjustment (para 11-3).
