20-3. CYLINDER HEAD REPAIR (CONT)

(27) Install preformed packing (13), plug (14), and freeze plug

(15) in front end of cylinder head (2).

(28) Install two preformed packings (16), plugs (17), and

freeze plug (18) in rear end of cylinder head (2).

(29) Install 12 valve guides (19) in cylinder head (2) with

larger end upward.

NOTE

Valve seat inserts should be placed in a freezer

for at least one hour prior to installation.

(30) Install 12 valve seat inserts (20) in cylinder head (2).
