4-6. TURBOCHARGER REPLACEMENT (CONT)

(4) Position preformed packing (6), adapter (7), and two

bolts (8) on engine (9).

(5) Tighten two bolts (8) to 15-25 lb-ft (20-34 N m).

(6) Position seal ring (10) and oil drain tube (11) on adapter

(7).

(7) Position gasket (12), two washers (13), bolts (14), and oil

drain tube (11) on turbocharger (2).

(8) Tighten two bolts (14) to 15-25 lb-ft (20-34 N m).

(9) Install preformed packing (15) on 90-degree fitting (16).

(10) Connect oil supply tube (17) to 90-degree fitting (16).

(11) Position gasket (18) and oil supply tube (17) on

turbocharger (2) with two washers (19) and bolts (20).

(12) Tighten two bolts (20) to 15-25 lb-ft (20-34 N m).
