13-13. FRAME RAIL REPLACEMENT (CONT)

b. LH Installation.

WARNING

Frame rail weighs approximately 250 lbs

(113 kgs). Attach a suitable lifting device

prior to installation.

Failure to comply

may result in damage to equipment or

injury to personnel.

NOTE

Steps (1) through (14) require the aid of an

assistant.

(1) Position frame rail (1) and spring support (2) on vehicle

with six bolts (3) and self-locking nuts (4).

(2) Position two bolts (5 and 6) in frame rail (1).

(3) Position two self-locking nuts (7) on bolts (5).

(4) Remove two bolts (6) from frame rail (1).

(5) Position front lifting bracket (8) on frame rail (1) with six

bolts (9) and self-locking nuts (10).
