Tailgate, Hinge Top, Closing.

NOTE

Both sides of tailgate are closed the same way.

Left side shown.

(1)

Remove chain (1) from lower adjusting fitting (2).

Use care when stowing tailgate chains.

They can interfere with tailgate

hinge operation.

Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.

(2)

Stow chain (1) in upper adjustment fitting (3).

(3)

Perform steps (1) and (2) on right side of tailgate.
