2-46. M1008 SERIES TOWING CONNECTION/DISCONNECTION

a. Front Connection.

(1) Remove two chains (1), emergency tow lights (2), and tow lights cable (3) from tool

box.

(2) Prepare underlift assembly for operation (para 2-44a).

NOTE

Perform step 3 is assistant is not available to aid in towing connection.

(3) Connect WRECKER REMOTE CONTROL (para 2-44b).

(4) Unlock stinger cam lock (4).

(5) Remove two top lynch pins (5) and pins (6) from two lift tools (7).
