13-15. M1093 FRAME PLATE REPLACEMENT (CONT)

CAUTION

When removing bolts, continuous removal of

collars is mandatory. Failure to comply will

result in seizing of collar to bolt.

NOTE

Perform step (10) on vehicles without 15K

SRW.

(10) Remove 13 collars (28), bolts (29), and frame plate (4)

from vehicle. Discard collars and bolts.

d. RH Installation.

NOTE

• Steps (1) through (16) require the aid of an

assistant.

• Perform steps (1) and (2) on vehicles without

15K SRW.

(1) Position frame plate (1) on vehicle with 13 bolts (2) and

self-locking nuts (3).

(2) Tighten 13 self-locking nuts (3) to 77-92 lb-ft (105-125

N·m).
