CAUTION

When removing bolts, continuous removal of

collars is mandatory. Failure to comply will

result in seizing of collar to bolt.

(7) Remove four collars (21) and bolts (22) from frame plate

(4). Discard collars and bolts.

(8) Remove 18 collars (23), bolts (24), and frame plate (4)

from vehicle. Discard collars and bolts.

d. RH Installation.

NOTE

Steps (1) through (14) require the aid of an

assistant.

(1) Position frame plate (1) on vehicle with 16 bolts (2) and

self-locking nuts (3).

(2) Tighten 18 self-locking nuts (3) to 77-92 lb-ft (105-125

N·m).
