M1088 FRAME PLATE REPLACEMENT (WITHOUT FRAME RAIL KIT) (CONT)

d. RH Installation.

(1)

Position frame plate (1) on vehicle with eight bolts

(2) and self-locking nuts (3).

(2)

Tighten eight self-locking nuts (3) to 77-92 lb-ft

(105-125 N•m).

(2.1)Cut two plastic edges (3.1) to approximately 9 in. (23

cm).

(2.2)Apply adhesive to plastic edge (3.1).

(2.3)Install plastic edge (3.1) on support bracket (4).

WARNING

Frame plate weighs approximately 90

lbs (41 kgs).

Attach a suitable lifting

device prior to installation.

Failure to

comply may result in damage to

equipment or injury to personnel.

NOTE

Steps (1) through (9) require the aid of an

assistant.

Adhesives,

solvents,

and

sealing

compounds can burn easily, can give

off harmful vapors, and are harmful to

skin and clothing.

Keep away from

open fire and use in a well-ventilated

area.

If adhesive, solvent, or sealing

compound gets on skin or clothing,

wash immediately with soap and water.

Failure to comply may result in injury to

personnel.
