WARNING
Use care when removing retaining rings.
Retaining rings are under tension and can
act as projectiles when released. Failure
to
comply
may
result
in
injury
to
personnel.
(8) Remove two retaining rings (14) from retaining pin (15).
(9) Remove slotted pin (16) from retaining pin (15).
(10) Remove two grease fittings (17) from retaining pin (15).
WARNING
Drive retaining pin out far enough to
release telescopic cylinder.
Failure to
comply may result in injury to personnel
or damage to equipment.
CAUTION
Use care not to damage threaded portion of
retaining pin. Failure to comply may result in
damage to equipment.
NOTE
Steps (11) through (13) require the aid of an
assistant.
(11) Drive retaining pin (15) from right telescopic cylinder
(18).
