(35) Remove eight screws (32), bearing cage (29), and

pinion drive (25) from differential carrier housing

(17).

(36) Apply a small amount of sealing compound to

outside edge and spring cavity of pinion seal (35).

(37) Install pinion seal (35) in bearing cage (29).

CAUTION

Ensure that seal lips are clean and free from

dirt.

Failure to comply may cause differential

carrier to leak.
