Hood raised and secured (TM 9-2320-386-10).
Disconnect battery ground cable (WP 0121 00).
Cooling system drained (WP 0068 00).
Alternator removed (Prestolite) (WP 0089 00) or
(Leece-Neville) (WP 0090 00).
Engine oil filter removed (WP 0033 00).
Turbocharger removed (WP 0325 00).
