Equipment Condition

• Battery ground cables disconnected (para. 4-68).

• Heat shield removed (para. 12-2).

• Air horn removed (para. 3-14).

Maintenance Level

CAUTION

Use care when removing harness. Failure to do so will cause

damage to harness.

1.

Remove cover (1) from heater (4).

2.

Disconnect wiring harness connector (2) from heater harness connector (7).

3.

Disconnect wiring harness connector (6) from heater control unit (5).

4.

Remove wiring harness (3) from vehicle.

CAUTION

Use care when installing harness. Failure to do so will cause

damage to harness.

1.

Position wiring harness (3) in vehicle.

2.

Connect wiring harness connector (2) to heater harness connector (7).

3.

Connect wiring harness connector (6) to heater control unit (5).

4.

Install cover (1) on heater (4).
