FIELD MAINTENANCE
MANDATORY REPLACEMENT PARTS LIST
INTRODUCTION
Scope
This work package includes a list of all the mandatory replacement parts referenced in the task initial setups and
procedures. These are items that must be replaced during maintenance whether they fail or not.
Explanation of Columns in the Mandatory Replacement Parts List
Column (1) Item No. This number is assigned to the entry in the list and is referenced in the initial setup to identify
the item.
Column (2) Part Number/(CAGEC). This is the primary number used by the manufacturer, which controls the design
and characteristics of the item by means of its engineering drawings, specifications, standards, and inspection
requirements, to identify an item or range of items. The manufacturer's Commercial and Government Entity Code
(CAGEC) is also included.
Column (3) National Stock Number (NSN). When available, the National Stock Number (NSN) is listed.
Column (4) Nomenclature. This is the name given to the item in the "Materials/Parts" listing and in the text of the
procedures.
Column (5) Qty. Refer to the Materials/Parts section in the initial setup of the procedures for required quantities of
items needed.
