Brake shoes may be coated with dust. Breathing this dust may be harmful to your
health.
•
Do not use compressed air to clean brake shoes. Wear a filter mask approved for
use against brake dust. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
•
Compressed air used for cleaning and air drying purposes must not exceed 30 psi
(207 kPa). Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
•
Use compressed air only with effective chip guarding and proper protective
equipment (goggles, shield, gloves, etc.). Failure to comply may result in injury or
death to personnel.
