REMOVAL (CONT)

Do not drain water and fuel from

secondary fuel filter into engine

compartment. A fire hazard may

result and cause serious injury to

personnel.

Place suitable container under drain cock

(3).

Open drain cock (3) and drain fluid filter

(4). Close drain cock.

Disconnect fuel supply to filter nonmetallic

hose assembly (5).

Disconnect fuel filter to fuel pump

nonmetallic hose assembly (6).

Disconnect air heater pump nonmetallic

hose assembly (7).

Remove three hexagon head capscrews

(8), two Iockwashers (9), one flat washer

(10), and one ring spacer (11 ) from

mounting bracket (12).

Remove mounting bracket (12) with fluid

filter (4).

Remove fluid filter (4) from mounting

bracket (12) by removing two hexagon

plain nuts (13), two Iockwashers (14), and

two hexagon head capscrews (15).

Remove two hose elbows (16), plug (17),

and two tube tees (18) from filter cover

(19) .
