ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENDING UNIT, ENGINE OIL

PRESSURE SENDING UNIT, AND SWITCHES REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL, INSTALLATION

INITIAL SETUP:

Tools and Special Tools

Tool kit, general mechanic’s (item 59, WP 0490 00)

Materials/Parts

Compound, sealing (item 29, WP 0489 00)

Equipment Condition

Powerplant removed (see WP 0098 00)

WARNING

Be certain MASTER switch is OFF when working on electrical system to avoid electrical shock and

burns.

Removal

1.

Disconnect connector (1) from switch (2). Remove switch.

2.

Disconnect connector (3) from engine oil pressure sending unit (4). Remove engine oil pressure sending unit.

3.

Disconnect connector (5). Remove main engine oil pressure switch (6).

4.

Disconnect connector (7) from engine oil temperature sending unit (8).

5.

Disconnect connector (9) from switch (10). Remove engine oil temperature sending unit (8).

6.

Remove switch (10).
