Removal

1.

Remove lead (1) from starter support bracket by removing machine bolt (3) and flat washer (4).

2.

Remove lead (2) from starter (5) by removing nut (6) and lockwasher (7). Remove lead assembly (8).

Disassembly

1.

Disassemble lead assembly (8) (see WP 0255 00 thru 0264 00, as appropriate).

Assembly

1.

Assemble lead assembly (8) (see WP 0255 00 thru 0264 00, as appropriate).

Installation

1.

Install lead (2) to starter (5) using nut (6) and lockwasher (7).

2.

Install lead (1) to starter support bracket using machine bolt (3) and flat washer (4).

NOTE

Follow-on maintenance: Install powerplant (see WP 0098 00).
