Remove two connectors (3 and 4) from starter (13) by removing nut (14) and lockwasher (15).

Disassembly

Disassemble wiring harness (see WP 0255 00 thru 0264 00, as appropriate).

Assembly

Assemble wiring harness (see WP 0255 00 thru 0264 00, as appropriate).

Installation

1.

Install two connectors (3 and 4) to starter (13) using new lockwasher (15) and nut (14).

2.

Connect connector (2) to fuel solenoid wiring harness (8).

3.

Connect connector (1) to engine disconnect (8) using four nuts (11), four new lockwashers (10), and four screws (9).

4.

Install clamp (5) using new lockwasher (7) and screw (6).

NOTE

Follow-on maintenance: Install powerplant (see WP 0098 00).
