Pull out hand throttle and run engine at 800-1000 RPM until normal idle temperature of 160 F to 185F(71Cto85 C)

is indicated on temperature gauge.

CAUTION

In cold weather, do not shut off engine until coolant temperature is 180 F(82 C) or lower.

Push hand throttle in and allow engine to idle for a few seconds. Then, pull fuel cutoff control out to shut the engine off.

NOTE

If air temperature is below -25 F(-32 C), start engine coolant heater (WP 0060 00).

Turn M ASTER SWITCH

to

OFF.
