Track shoe bushing failure can cause track assembly failure and loss of vehicle control. Soldiers
can be killed or injured.
Do not use excessive force that could damage the track shoe bushing while driving in the track
pin during assembly.
WARNING
Worn or damaged track components can cause track failure and loss of vehicle control. Soldiers
can be killed or injured. If track components are not in satisfactory condition, do not operate
vehicle.
WARNING
Track shoe bushing failure due to improper angle of track during pin assembly can cause track
assembly failure and loss of vehicle control. Soldiers can be killed or injured.
Make sure track is assembled with the right amount of angle or lift as shown below. Properly
assembled track will lay flat. Incorrectly assembled track will bulge upward.
