REMOVAL

1.

Use a hacksaw to cut off broken stud as close to mounting surface as you can.

2.

Ifalockedstudwithserratedlockringisbeingremoved, punch center of remaining stud. Drill a pilot hole.

NOTE

Key-locked studs have pre-drilled pilot holes.

3.

Use an extractor to remove stud. Discard stud.
