Procedural Steps (Cont):
8. Secure bands against bore evacuator with screws, nuts, and lockwashers.
Option 2:
Welded patch repair.
Materials/Tools:
o Welding equipment
o Grinder
o Sheet metal, 1/4-inch thick (size dependent on damage)
Procedural Steps:
1. Use acetylene torch and grinder to cut and remove any burrs or protruding metal
edges from damaged bore evacuator.
2. Clean any blocked gas ports, if accessible.
3. Measure and record dimensions of damaged area (items B and C).
