Fasten pole to antenna base with rope or tape.

Feed remaining coaxial cable through loader's hatch to the radio.
8.
If there is a BNC connector (twist type lock) on the cable, attach it to the radio
antenna connector. If not, do as follows:
a.
Carefully strip the outer insulation of the coaxial cable to expose enough
braided shield to reach a screw near the antenna connector on the radio case.
b.
Use a pencil or nail and carefully separate the braided shield from around the
center conductor. Twist into a pigtail.
c. Strip the inner insulation to expose enough center conductor to push into the
antenna connector.
d.
Wedge the center conductor into the antenna connector and attach the pigtail
to a screw on-the radio case.
9.
Record the BDAR action
practicable, repair vehicle using
taken.
When the mission is completed, as soon as
standard maintenance procedures.
