Steer in a series of short turns on side slopes rather than one long even turn. This allows debris to feed out of the tracks.
Use gear range 1 or 1-2.

Descend grades slowly. Shift to a lower range before starting down. Approach bottom cautiously to avoid digging. Use
1 range for 30% to 60% grades and 1-2 range for up to 30% grades. Don’t use engine and transmission to hold carrier
on a slope.
