REPLACE ENGINE OIL SAMPLING VALVE AND HOSE — Continued

INSTALLATION
1.
Apply sealing compound to all male tapered threads. Do not apply sealing compound beyond small end of tapered
threads.
2.
Install bushing (7) in valve (5).
3.
Install elbow (3) in bushing (7).
4.
Install valve (5) on bracket (6) and secure with jam nut (4).
5.
Install hose (1) on elbow (3).
6.
Route hose behind fuel filter and connect hose (1) to adapter (2).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Start engine (see your -10).
2.
Check for leaks.
3.
Stop engine (see your -10).
4.
Install driver’s power plant access panel (see your -10).
