NOTE

Clevis (9) and one end of hex shaped rod (10) have left-hand threads.

Remove clevis (7) from ﬂat shaped rod (8), or clevis (9) from hex shaped rod (10).

4.

Remove cotter pin (1), four washers (2), headed pin (3), and latch (4). Discard cotter pin.

5.

Remove two screws (5), washers (6), and bracket (7) from hull top plate.

6.

Pull ﬂat shaped rod (8) or hex shaped rod (9) from welded brackets on hull top plate. Remove three bumpers (10) as ﬂat

shaped rod is removed, or three bushings (11) as hex shaped rod is removed.

7.

For hex shaped rod (9), bend back tabs on key washer (12), loosen jam nut (13), and remove clevis (14) from rod.

Remove jam nut from rod and discard key washer.
