REPLACE RIGHT SIDE BASE EXTENSION (M1068A3 ONLY) — Continued

INSTALLATION

1.

Install plate (4) on base extension (7) and secure with two screws (1), new lockwashers (2), and washers (3).

2.

Install striker (19) and spring (18) in bracket (23) and secure with two nuts (24).

3.

Position bracket (23) on base extension (7) and secure with four screws (20), new lockwashers (21), and washers (22).

4.

Position guide (30) on base extension (7) and secure with two screws (27), nut (8), new lockwashers (9), new

lockwashers (28), and washers (29).

5.

Insert lever (14) through guide (30).

6.

Install link (16) between lever (14) and striker (19).

7.

Secure link (16) to striker (19) with headed pin (17), washer (25), and new cotter pin (26).

8.

Secure link (16) to lever (14) with headed pin (10), two washers (11), and new cotter pin (15).

9.

Secure lever (14) to base extension (7) with bolt (13) and two washers (12).

NOTE

All rivets are installed the same way. Install rivets only as required.

10. Install new rivets (5) and (6) on base extension (7).
