INSTALLATION

1.

Apply light coat of sealing compound to all external tapered threads. Do not apply sealant beyond small end of external

tapered threads.

2.

Install plug (11), plug (8), and new packings (3) in ports

and

4

of fuel ﬁlter (4).

NOTE

Flareless (compression) ﬁttings are used on the fuel lines. When these ﬁttings are ﬁrst installed,

a sleeve is crimped on the tube or hose end. Consequently, when tubes or hoses are replaced,

new ﬁtting sleeves are also required.

Install two elbows (9) or (2) and new packings (3) in ports

and

of fuel ﬁlter (4).

4.

Install fuel ﬁlter (4) on sponson and secure with two screws (7), new lockwashers (6), and washers (5).
