REPLACE PERSONNEL HEATER FUEL PUMP (M113A3, M1059A3, AND M58 ONLY) —

2.

Apply light coat of sealing compound to all external tapered threads. Do not apply sealant beyond small end of tapered

threads.

3.

Install elbow (1) on fuel pump (9).

4.

Install adapter (4) on elbow (1). M58 only or install adaptor (4) on fuel pump (9) M113, 1059A3 only.

Install hose (5) on adapter.

5.

Install pipe coupling (8) and tee (7) on fuel pump (9).

6.

Install fuel supply hose (6) on tee (7).

7.

If engine coolant heater is installed, install fuel supply hose (2) on tee (7). If engine coolant heater is not installed, install

cap (3) on open end of tee.

8.

Align clamp (6) on fuel pump lead (5) with hull weldnut. Secure with washer (2), two new lockwashers (1), and screw

(3).

9.

Connect fuel pump lead (5) to circuit 402 lead (4).

Change 1
