REPLACE PERSONNEL HEATER FUEL FILTER, HOSE, TUBE, AND FITTINGS (M577A3
AND M1068A3 ONLY) — Continued

Remove tube
(8) from elbow (9) and bulkhead fitting (10).
4.
Remove two screws (11), lockwashers (12), washers (13), and fuel filter (14) from right sponson. Discard lockwashers.
5.
Remove two elbows (6), (9) and packings (15) from fuel filter (14). Discard packings.
6.
Remove two plugs (16) and packings (17) from fuel filter (14). Discard packings.

Change 2
Fuel can catch fire and burn you. Do not smoke. Wipe up spilled fuel.
1.
Remove four screws (1), lockwashers (2), washers (3), and shield (4) from right sponson. Discard lockwashers.
2.
Remove hose assembly (5) from elbow (6) and bulkhead fitting (7).
